A Dream Home

There is a place I know
Surrounded by beautiful flowers.
I often spend some time here
And dream that it is ours.

Such a beautiful home,
It shines with love.
With pure white flowers
And a flag furling above.

Inside it's cozy and warm
With the flicker of candlelight.
A scent of sweet honeysuckle
Drifts through the night.

A kitchen in hues
Of blue and yellow.
So bright and sunny
Yet soft and mellow.

The great room in beige
And green like the earth.
A big plump sofa
In front of the hearth.

In a lavender bedroom
A downy bed fit for a queen
With windows from ceiling to floor
Where the moon and stars can be seen.

A melody from Heaven
Can be heard in the breeze
While Angels wings flutter
Like the wind in the leaves.

This home's filled with happiness
Shared by two special lovers it seems.
Darlin'... this home is yours and mine
But only in my dreams.
