It was Halloween night
The night looked fine and dandy




All I could think about
Was getting a lot of candy




Walking with my friends
Up and down the streets




Looking high and low
For lots of Halloween treats




There were pumpkins aglow
And witches galore




Scarecrows and ghosts
And mummies and more




We giggled and laughed
But I started to feel




That maybe these monsters
Could be very real




Someone was following
Every foot step of ours




I knew it was late
We were out there for hours




Our hearts were pounding, as
Our blood started surging





Then... everywhere I looked
The monsters were emerging




We headed for home
And Boy!! Did we run!




And even tho we were shaking and scared
We had to admit...we sure did have fun!
